I am a qualified geologist who, after working in the UK, returned to South Africa and, following my passion embarked on a new career – Travel. I began my career as a travel consultant with Flight Centre in 1999 where I was the manager of the Rivonia branch from December 1999 until July 2001. During this period I was honoured as Best New Consultant Worldwide and the branch won numerous awards including Most Profitable Shop In South Africa.

I have travelled on various airlines to more than 40 different countries, including 37 of the states in the USA. This exposure to a vast number of cultures has equipped me fully to advise travelers on the best ways to get to various destinations at the lowest possible fares, whether travelling on a budget or on business.

I founded Realworld Travel in 2002.  Together with more than 200 independent travel consultancies we are affiliated to E-Travel a Bryanston based consortium. The sizable volume of business conducted nationwide across its offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban enables E-Travel to negotiate exceptional deals with airlines and other travel –related service providers.  This positions Realworld Travel ideally as a personalised travel service that is able to offer its clients the benefits of corporate-negotiated rates.
